Solemn Liturgy - St. Seraphim of Sarov
On 15.01.2020. in the church of Saint Paul the Apostle in Petrovaradin, under the auspices of the VRL Foundation, a solemn liturgy dedicated to the Venerable Seraphim of Sarovski was held. A large number of devotees from various parts of Serbia gathered to participate in a common prayer and pay their respects and thanks to Venerable Seraphim Sarovski, one of the most important Russian saints. Among the devotees there were also those who commemorated Saint Seraphim of Sarovsk on that day as their baptismal glory. The solemn liturgy was served by protovicar Blagoje Katić, with the help of numerous clergy, who at the end of the service taught the congregation about the life of Venerable Seraphim of Sarovski.
For many years, the VRL Foundation has been supporting liturgies dedicated to the Venerable Seraphim of Sarovsk, as well as St. John of Shanghai (July 2), St. Nektarios of Aegina (November 22), Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary (December 4) and St. Naum of Ohrid (January 5).
Until next time,
